Prince of Peace Lutheran Church has resumed in-person worship on Sundays at 10:00 am in the Canaday Pavilion. Face masks must be worn.
The service will be simple and shorter than a normal service, because there will be no singing. Please wear a mask. We will have the chairs set up for social distancing and we will be having communion. We will also have worship in the church nave at 11:15. This is primarily for Zoom but if you wish to attend indoors that will be fine. I have placed hymnals in the pews to indicate where people should sit so that we can socially distance. It will be nice to see everyone and to worship in person again.
We will be sending out a bulletin that can be used for the rest of July and all of August. Please print it out and bring it with you. We will also be sending out the lessons that you can print each week.
I pray that you are all safe and healthy. We will get on the other side of this pandemic but, unfortunately, it will be with us for the foreseeable future. Michael Fleming, Congregational President

Come and See!
Our congregation gathers locals who grew up in Orkney Springs and Basye, newcomers who fell in love with the mountains and valleys of western Virginia, and vacationers who join us whenever they visit Bryce Resort or Shrine Mont. You are invited to join us in our worship and service in the name of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Come and see what God is doing in our community!
Our church building rests on a bend in Route 263, between Orkney Springs and Basye. When headed west on 263 from Mount Jackson, go past the entrance to Bryce Resort (Resort Drive) and the Orkney Springs Fire and Rescue on the left and the Valley Thrift Store on the right. We are on the right hand side of the road, waiting for you!
